The Prayer Ministry of New Hope
Community Church functions to carry
out the call of New Hope from Isaiah
61:
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord
is upon me, because the Lord has
appointed me to bring good news to
the poor. He has sent me to comfort
the brokenhearted and to announce
that captives will be released and
prisoners will be freed. He has sent
me to tell those who morn that the
time of the Lord's favor has come,
and with it, the day of God's anger
against their enemies. To all who
mourn in Israel, He will give beauty
for ashes, joy instead of mourning,
praise instead of despair. For the
Lord has planted them like strong
and graceful oaks for his own
glory."
NLT
We believe that prayer and the
believer's authority in Christ are
means God uses to bring salvation,
healing, and deliverance from
bondage.
The prayer team consists of
committed New Hope members who
believe that Jesus Christ is the Son
of God and that salvation is through
Him alone. We believe that the
same power and authority that raised
Jesus Christ from death has been
given to the believer. As such we
are committed to prayer.
At New Hope, the prayer team offers:
-
Ministry following Sunday
services. Members of the prayer
team are available after our
services for brief prayer and/or
referrals.
-
Extended prayer. We have a
committed group of people who
provide ongoing prayer over an
extended period of time. These
requests are confidential. If
you would like extended prayer,
fill out the Prayer Request
form.

Prayer from the Elders. Within
the New Hope family, we take to
heart James 5:14. "Is anyone of
you sick? He should call the
elders of the church to pray
over him and anoint him with oil
in the name of the Lord." If you
want the elders of New Hope to
pray for healing, fill out the
Prayer Request form and place a
check @ I would like to have the
Elders pray for me.

Deliverance Ministry. As Isaiah
61 says, "captives will be
released and prisoners will be
freed". Members of the Prayer
Team are available to meet with
individuals to stand with them
in the Ephesians 6:12 spiritual
battle that affects us all. We
go beyond praying and submitting
to God, we "resist" the enemy,
as we are instructed in James
4:7, and 1Peter 5:8,9. Prayer
and deliverance appointments can
be made by calling (763)
552-7979.
